My Mom

The reason that I live as happily as I do now is because of my mom.  Without her I wouldn't the person who I am today.  Here are ten reasons why.

  1. She loves me. (even when I do something totally ridiculous)
  2. She loves my dad.
  3. She has sacrificed so much of herself for our family.
  4. She listens to me.
  5. She teaches me...
    • The Gospel
    • How to pray
    • How to cook
    • How to clean
    • How to get dressed
    • How to drive
    • How to sing
    • How to fix up a house
    • What to look for in a wife
    • How to treat women
    • How to trust God
  6. She shows me...
    • How to love
    • How to laugh
    • And all the things listed above
  7. She makes me go to the doctor or take my medicine
  8. She is patient with me (even when I can't take a decent picture)
  9. She shows her trust in me.
  10. She makes me want to be a better person
My mom has always been there for me.  I am grateful, not only on Mother's Day, but every day, that God sent me to be a part of her family.

Thank you Mom,
I love you

They see me bloggin, they hatin'...

Well I hope that you don't hate me for starting this up.  I've enjoyed reading blogs from some of my friends and I feel that life is important and loverly enough to share.  So this is my attempt.

Why "and I lived..."?
I take this from Nephi's quote in the Book of Mormon.  The reference is 2 Nephi 5:27 "And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness."  This blog is a small portion of my search for happiness.  I want to share with you what makes me happy.

Short Sweet and to the Point
This is not my place to vent to the world about my problems or share the innermost secrets and feelings of my soul.  This is where I will share my experiences and many things that are dear to me.

-Sweet Summer Time-
I love the summer.  With so much to do and enjoy here in Utah, how can we not take advantage of it?

Check this out!
Hiking, Mount, Olympus, Trail
From Mt. Olympus (SLC, UT)
The view you see was breathtaking in person.  I love to hike and see the beauty that God created for us to enjoy.  The story for this hike will be forthcoming.

Until my next post, "live happy!"
